HODYON ATTAINS ISO 9001:2000 Certification
Round Rock, Texas – November 1st, 2007 - Hodyon, a manufacturer
and distributor of aftermarket climate control systems, announced
today that it has achieved International Organization for
Standardization's (ISO) 9001:2000 certification. Orion Registrar,
Inc., an independent auditing agency conducted the final
certification audit and certified that Hodyon's Quality Management
System conformed to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
The ISO 9000
series of standards represents an international consensus of quality
management practices. Providing a consistent set of criteria for the
development and acceptance of corrective action and responses is a
part of the audit process. This has assisted Hoydon in their drive
to managing their manufacturing process effectively and giving
customers continued confidence. The ISO certification validates the
effectiveness and strength of Hodyon's quality management systems as
well as their assurance of continuous improvement.
"Our team has
successfully implemented an effective quality management system
based on the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standard," said David
Hancock, CEO of Hodyon. "The team has demonstrated unwavering focus
in creating and implementing a QMS system which provides for
continuous improvements in quality, increased customer satisfaction,
and a dedicated, systematic approach to overall quality management."
Hoydon’s
certification process began over 18 months ago. During that time,
the company built its Quality Management System from the ground up
and has executed a continual process of internal quality audits to
ensure ongoing ISO 9001:2000 standard compliance.

About the ISO
9001:2000 standard:
The ISO 9001
standard is maintained by the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO) and is administered by accreditation and
certification bodies. It is a generic standard that can be applied
to any industry, regardless of the product or service delivered. The
standard refers to an organization's structure for managing the
processes or activities that transform inputs of resources into a
product or service to meet customized objectives, such as satisfying
customer quality requirements.
The International
Organization for Standardization was established in 1947 with the
mission of contributing to economic and social progress. ISO's
international standards and deliverables were designed to support
the following: facilitation of global trade; improvements to
quality, safety and security; environmental and consumer protection,
including the rational use of natural resources; and global
dissemination of technologies and good practices.
The ISO is
currently an association of approximately 149 national standards
bodies, each of which represents its own country. ISO employs a
system of technical committees, sub-committees and working groups to
develop its international standards. For more information about ISO,
