HODYON BEGINS ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION
PROCESS
Round Rock, Texas – August 10th, 2007 - Hodyon, LP, a custom
manufacturer and worldwide distributor of replacement automotive
climate control products and systems, signed a contract with I.
Michaels & Associates to complete ISO 9001:2000 certification.
I. Michaels &
Associates, an ISO consulting firm located in Austin, Texas, will
enhance the existing quality management standards at Hodyon to
ensure that the internal standards are compliant with the
International Standards Organization (ISO). Hodyon will then select
a registrar and request a registration audit to the ISO 9001:2000
Standard. The certification is scheduled to be awarded in January of
2008.
The ISO 9001:2000
standard is an international reference for quality management
requirements and continuous improvement in business-to-business
dealings. For a manufacturer, some of the requirements in ISO 9001
(which is one of the standards in the ISO 9000 family) include:

a set of
procedures that cover all key processes in the business;

monitoring
manufacturing processes to ensure production of quality
products;

keeping
records;
-
checking
outgoing product for defects, with appropriate corrective action
where necessary;

regularly
reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for
effectiveness; and

facilitating
continual improvement
