
David Hancock, Chief Executive Officer
David Hancock has worked in the mobile air conditioning business for 16 years. He began in retail and service and then in 1997 became the Executive Officer of Hodyon. He has served in that position ever since. Beginning in 2004,
David was part of the innovative 10H development team that is currently responsible for the Aftermarket division of Hodyon, which holds two provisional patents. Prior to his time with Hodyon,
he worked as an accountant for Arthur Andersen. He graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1993 with a BBA in Accounting.
Todd A. Self, Chief Financial Officer
Todd A. Self joined Hodyon in 2005 as a partner and Chief Financial
Officer. He oversees the company’s financial operations, human
resources, marketing and information technology. Todd brings over
ten years of financial management, corporate development, and
advisory experience to Hodyon. Most recently, he was a Vice President in the corporate banking group of one of the ten largest banks in the United States.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the
College of Business Administration at Abilene Christian University,
where he received pre-season and post-season accolades as a
three-year starter on the school’s baseball team. He completed a
Masters of Business Administration from the McCombs School of
Business at the University of Texas at Austin in 2002. He resides in
Austin, Texas, with his wife, two daughters and son.
Terry Nielsen, Vice President of Manufacturing Operations
Terry Nielsen has worked in the mobile air conditioning aftermarket for 20 years, utilizing his expertise in both design and manufacturing. Prior to
joining Hodyon in 2006, he was co-founder of CompressorWorks, the first maker of new a/c compressors only for the automotive aftermarket, where he served as Director of Engineering. Prior to CompressorWorks,
Terry was Engineering Manager for Four Seasons Division of Standard Motor Products.
He has more than 30 years experience in manufacturing and has been a part of several start-up operations.
Terry received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.
Ron Boston, Product Development
Ron Boston joined Hodyon in 2005. He began rebuilding air conditioning compressors in 1981 and has full knowledge of every aspect of the A/C remanufacturing business - from teardown to final assembly, from purchasing to marketing
and all levels of management. For many years, Ron owned his own A/C compressor rebuilding company. Additionally, he developed a logical part numbering system for compressors and compressor remanufacturing components, which is used widely throughout the A/C industry today.
Tracy Metcalf, Vice President of Sales
Tracy Metcalf joined Hodyon in April of 2005 as Vice President of
Sales. He brings broad experience in the mobile air conditioning
industry, having spent over 24 years with two companies prior to
Hodyon. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Omega, having
spent 12 years building the company in niche markets, both
domestically and abroad. Prior to 1993 Tracy was Sales Manager for Sanden International, handling their Aftermarket Sales Department.
Rick Moore, Vice President of Sales
Rick Moore joined Hodyon in 2006 as Vice
President of Sales. He brings with him 24 years experience in
both the aftermarket and OEM. He started his career at Sanden
International in 1983 and
during his 13 year tenure, his
responsibilities included a wide range of positions such as
Accessory Parts Mgr, Special Application & Truck Mgr. and
finally as OEM Heavy Truck Sales Mgr.
As
Director of Sales S.A., for Tripac Automotive Components and
most recently Account Executive for Omega Environmental
Technologies, Rick has a vast knowledge of the air conditioning
industry in both the domestic and international markets.
