
David Hancock, Chief Executive Officer
David Hancock has worked in the mobile air conditioning business for 16 years. He began in retail and service and then in 1997 became the Executive Officer of Hodyon. He has served in that position ever since. Beginning in 2004,
David was part of the innovative 10H development team that is currently responsible for the Aftermarket division of Hodyon, which holds two provisional patents. Prior to his time with Hodyon,
he worked as an accountant for Arthur Andersen. He graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1993 with a BBA in Accounting.
Todd A. Self, Chief Financial Officer
Todd A. Self joined Hodyon in 2005 as a partner and Chief Financial
Officer. He oversees the company’s financial operations, human
resources, marketing and information technology. Todd brings over
ten years of financial management, corporate development, and
advisory experience to Hodyon. Most recently, he was a Vice President in the corporate banking group of one of the ten largest banks in the United States.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the
College of Business Administration at Abilene Christian University,
where he received pre-season and post-season accolades as a
three-year starter on the school’s baseball team. He completed a
Masters of Business Administration from the McCombs School of
Business at the University of Texas at Austin in 2002. He resides in
Austin, Texas, with his wife, two daughters and son.
Terry Nielsen, Vice President of Manufacturing Operations
Terry Nielsen has worked in the mobile air conditioning aftermarket for 20 years, utilizing his expertise in both design and manufacturing. Prior to
joining Hodyon in 2006, he was co-founder of CompressorWorks, the first maker of new a/c compressors only for the automotive aftermarket, where he served as Director of Engineering. Prior to CompressorWorks,
Terry was Engineering Manager for Four Seasons Division of Standard Motor Products.
He has more than 30 years experience in manufacturing and has been a part of several start-up operations.
Terry received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.
John Weber, APU Operations Product
Manager
John is a senior management executive with more than 30 years of
domestic and international experience with General Motors,
Southern California Gas Company, J.D. Powers and Associates, and
other companies. He has led operations involving advanced
automotive powertrain and infrastructure projects involving
natural gas-powered vehicles, EV’s, electric cycles and advanced
battery applications. John has recently led development and
production of an innovative continuously variable transmission
that has application in many markets resulting in more efficient
use of power and torque. Functionally, John is very skilled at
operation management, product market planning, competitive
assessments and business planning for emerging technologies.
John has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a
Master of Business Administration, post-graduate work in
Executive Management.
